Google Ads That Capture the Customers Who Are Ready to Buy

When someone searches for what you offer, you need to be there — and you need to convert them when they arrive. I build and manage Google Ads campaigns that target high-intent audiences at the moment they’re ready to act, with the tracking, attribution, and ongoing optimisation that turns ad spend into measurable revenue.

01

The Problem With Most Google Ads

Google Ads is one of the most powerful customer acquisition tools available — and one of the most commonly mismanaged.

Most businesses running Google Ads are dealing with at least one of these problems: campaigns set up without a proper conversion tracking foundation, budget allocated to broad keywords that attract the wrong traffic, account structures inherited from a previous agency that were never fully understood, or reporting that shows impressive-looking numbers that don’t connect to actual revenue.

The result is ad spend that looks active on paper but isn’t generating the return it should. If that sounds familiar, it’s not a Google Ads problem — it’s a strategy and execution problem.

What Good Google Ads Management Looks Like

Effective Google Ads management starts well before a single campaign goes live. It begins with understanding your business, your customers, and the commercial outcome you’re trying to drive — then building an account structure designed to achieve it.

Every account I manage is built on the same foundation:

Proper conversion tracking and attribution setup — so you always know exactly what your spend is generating

Campaign architecture designed around your customer’s search intent, not just keyword volume

Bid strategy aligned to your actual business goals — revenue, leads, or return on ad spend

Creative and copy that speaks to your ideal customer at the right stage of their decision

Geographic, demographic, and audience targeting refined to eliminate wasted impressions

Performance Max and Shopping campaign management for ecommerce clients

Google Business Profile, Search Console, and Analytics integration where relevant

Transparent reporting that tells you what your investment is actually delivering — in plain language

The Process

Whether you’re starting from scratch or inheriting an underperforming account, the process is the same: understand the goal, audit what exists, build what’s needed, and optimise relentlessly.

U

Audit & Discovery

If you have an existing Google Ads account, I start with a thorough audit — assessing your campaign structure, conversion tracking, budget allocation, keyword strategy, and historical performance. If you’re starting from zero, I begin with a discovery session to understand your business, your customers, and your commercial goals.

Strategy and Setup

I build or rebuild your account with a clear architecture — campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and bidding strategies all aligned to your specific objectives. Conversion tracking is set up correctly from the outset, because without accurate data, optimisation is guesswork.

Launch and Optimisation

Once live, campaigns are monitored and optimised continuously — adjusting bids, refining audiences, testing creative, and reallocating budget toward what’s performing. This is not a set-and-forget service.

Reporting and Transparency

You receive clear, regular reporting that connects your ad spend to your actual business outcomes. No vanity metrics, no jargon — just a straightforward account of what your investment is doing and where the opportunities lie.

“When Trish first came on board, we honestly had no idea what we needed to have in place to run an e-commerce business properly. No Merchant Center, no CRM, no database, no customer nurturing — and definitely no clear strategy. She sorted all of that out for us. The results have been beyond our expectations. Who would have thought we’d go from starting at zero to genuinely shaking up an industry full of established players!”

FAQs

How much does Google Ads management cost?

Google Ads management is priced based on the complexity of your account and the scope of work involved. As a guide, service-based account management retainers start from $1,500 per month, separate to your advertising budget. Contact me for a conversation about what’s right for your situation.

Do I need a minimum advertising budget?

There’s no universal minimum, but your advertising budget needs to be sufficient to generate meaningful data and results. For most businesses, a starting budget of $1,500–$3,000 per month in ad spend allows enough volume to optimise effectively. I’ll give you an honest assessment of what’s realistic for your goals during our initial conversation.

Will you take over my existing Google Ads account?

Yes — I regularly take over accounts that have been mismanaged, under-optimised, or built without proper tracking foundations. The first step is always a thorough audit so we both understand exactly what we’re working with before making any changes.

What access will I have to my account?

Full access, always. Your Google Ads account belongs to you — not me. I manage it on your behalf, but you retain complete ownership and visibility at every stage. This is non-negotiable.

How long before I see results?

Google Ads can generate results quickly — often within the first few weeks of a well-structured campaign. However, the first 30–60 days are typically a period of learning and optimisation as the algorithm gathers data and I refine what’s working. Meaningful, sustainable results generally build over the first 90 days.

If your current campaigns aren’t performing — or you’ve never run Google Ads and want to start properly — book a free 30-minute Google Ads review. I’ll take an honest look at where you are and tell you clearly what I think the opportunity is.
